Toyota Perfect Attendance Ceremony

GEORGETOWN, KENTUCKY, (April 18, 2007) — Fourteen team members from Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc. (TMMK) are proud owners of new Toyota vehicles following this weekend’s  Annual Perfect Attendance Ceremony held at Rupp Arena. Those on hand for the celebration were also treated to a night of entertainment featuring the amazing sounds of legendary rocker Pat Benatar and Grammy award winner and famed Nashville musician Wynonna.

This is the 17th year for the Perfect Attendance Ceremony. The idea of the ceremony based on perfect attendance is the result of Toyota’s high priority on work attendance. Team members celebrating multiple years of perfect attendance are rewarded with multiple entries in the vehicle drawing. For example an employee celebrating 16 years of perfect attendance would have 16 chances to win a vehicle.

“For some, never missing a day of work is unimaginable, but we have many team members celebrating 15 plus years of perfect attendance. The fact that TMMK has such high perfect attendance rates is just a testament to the kind of workforce we have,” said TMMK President Steve St. Angelo. “This ceremony is just one of many ways to show our sincere appreciation for all the hard work our team members do day-in and day-out.”
