Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc. reported monthly sales results of 124,540 units as momentum from the fourth quarter of last year picked up speed in January. With 24 selling days in January 2011 and 2012, sales increased 7.5 percent over the year-ago month on a daily selling rate (DSR) and unadjusted raw volume basis. Driven by an increase in sales of the all-new 2012 Camry and Camry hybrid, the Toyota Division posted January sales of 112,266 units, an increase of 9.0 percent compared to the same period last year. |

Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported December 2011 sales results of 178,131 units, flat compared to the same period last year on a daily selling rate (DSR) basis and raw volume basis. Toyota Division reported December sales of 152,776 units, up 1.9 percent over 2010. Lexus Division reported sales of 25,355 units, down 8.0 percent from the year-ago month. For the full year, TMS reported annual sales of 1,644,661 vehicles, down 7.0 percent from the same period in 2010 on a DSR basis, as inventory continued to recover from shortages due to the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. With 307 selling days in 2011 and 306 selling days in 2010, annual sales were down 6.7 percent on an unadjusted raw volume basis. |

Fifteen Toyota, Lexus and Scion Vehicles Earn Top Safety Pick Awards |
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) today announced that 15 Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles - including the Kentucky-made Toyota Camry - earned Top Safety Pick awards for the 2012 model year, more than any other automaker. |
