Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported April 2015 sales of 203,329 units, an increase of 1.8 percent from April 2014 on a volume basis. With the same amount of selling days in April 2015 and April 2014, sales were up 1.8 percent on a daily selling rate (DSR) basis.
The Kentucky Commission on Women documentary "Dreamers & Doers: VOICES of Kentucky Women" profiles more than 40 Kentucky women and their achievements, and is based on the Kentucky Women Remembered (KWR) exhibit displayed in the state Capitol.
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear, Toyota and United Way announced the expansion of innovative early childhood academies to 36 more schools across the state. The initiative is funded by Kentucky’s Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge federal grant and Toyota’s manufacturing operations in Kentucky. The state is in year two of a four-year $1.4 million expansion while Toyota is in its fourth year of a $1 million investment.
