Picnic Shelter Guidelines
- Use of the picnic shelter is available to all team members and retirees, their spouses, covered same gender domestic partners, and eligible dependents. Tour groups visiting the plant with an existing tour reservation may also use the picnic shelter.
- Picnic shelter is reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Visitor Center.
- All reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance, and can only be made during the Visitor Center’s normal operating hours. The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed during all production holidays, including shutdown periods.
- Only Team Members can make reservations, with the exception of tour groups visiting the plant with an existing plant tour/ trail tour reservation.
- The picnic shelter area can accommodate up to 100 people, with eight grills available for use.
- Dependents under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Swimming suits and sunbathing are not permitted. Shirts should be worn at all times.
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on company property, including the picnic shelter.
- Team members should keep their badge with them at all times.
- No skating or bicycling is allowed. Parking lots and roads are for vehicle use only. Please park only in designated areas.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Glass containers are not permitted.
- TMMK is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Any items found will be turned into "Lost and Found" at 601 Security.
- Restrooms are located behind the softball fields, in the shelter area. Restrooms are closed November through March.
- Please extinguish grills and clean the area once your activity is completed. Water is available at the picnic shelter.
- Individuals using the picnic shelter are doing so at their own risk. Team member responsible for reservation is responsible for the condition of the area, and for making sure picnic shelter guidelines are observed.
- Reserving the picnic shelter entails usage only of the picnic shelter, including tables, grills, waste bins and water fountains. All other areas of the Recreation Park must be reserved through the Fitness Center. Picnic tables outside of the shelter are first-come, first-serve, and do not require reservations.
