In July 2010, Osamu Ushio was named Corporate Advisor at TMMK, Toyota’s largest plant in North America. He has also held positions as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at TMMK and Senior Advisor of Strategic Business Management (SSR) and North American Production Support Center (NAPSC).

Ushio joined Toyota in 1985. His past assignments include working in the General Assembly Division of the Tsutsumi plant in Japan. His main areas of responsibility have been manufacturing and production engineering.

Ushio worked at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky from 1994 — 1998. He was assigned at TMMK as Executive Coordinator in September 2003.
